The coastal boundary extended toward the land region for reproducing the flood case in the numerical simulation of Kingston Harbour and Portland Bight is shown in the final figure below.
The bathymetry interpolated at each node is shown below. This is one of the inputs into the numerical model, RMA-10. The bathymetric data of the flood areas were assumed to range from 0 – 0.5 m height from the initial condition of the sea level height. These bathymetric data and coastal flood areas are based on the data used in hydrodynamics simulation modelling.
