MGI is currently working on finalizing GIS content to launch our Online-Based GIS Training Programme. With online GIS training, potential students will be able to register and learn GIS from the comfort of their home. This is in keeping with MGI’s commitment to continuously upgrade its products and services.

On-site GIS training is still available for interested persons. MGI can accommodate single or batches of up to 6 students for organizations or groups. The typical Introductory GIS training programme is normally 4 to 5 days during the week (Mondays to Fridays).

Several GIS concepts are taught in the GIS Training Programme at MGI, such as
cartography – the art and science of map-making

Customized Introductory and Advanced GIS training options are available. Students are introduced to ArcGIS and open-source GIS (QGIS) as well other web-based tools such as Google Earth and GPS technologies.
