Romario was joined by our Technical Projects Coordinator, Darren Fletcher, to conduct a Gleaner interview about the work done by MGI in developing the early advisory system for sargassum monitoring.

The system, in the final stages of development at MGI, is an innovative undertaking that will be beneficial to affected stakeholders, especially those in the fishing and tourism sectors, by assisting in the implementation of preemptive actions that will assist in reducing the potential impacts arising from Sargassum inundation.
